Welcome to A Bakers Escape.
Food is one thing that has always been a constant love of mine. Be it memories of my grandmas flapjacks from my childhood, my mothers baked cheesecake from my teens or the late brunches I crave every weekend now. It has even propelled me into a career as a Pastry Chef. It’s been there in the good and bad times and has the ability to evoke memories you’d maybe long forgotten.
Baking at home brings me a sense of calm and happiness, as I’m sure it does so many others. The excitement of food emerging from the oven having been completely transformed. The smell enveloping the house like a warm hug. I take solace in my kitchen and its time I take for myself with no distractions.
So please join me; take a step back from the stresses of everyday life and escape into the rhythms of baking.
From my little London kitchen to yours.
I love your recipes! I can’t wait to try so many of them 🙂
